Thanks bro! Just got home from what should have been an awesome weekend of riding, until some dirtbag stole my bike in the middle of the night. I had the key, so they came prepared. I heard it start up in the distance, then going down the road. Yes, it had the Saddleman black ADV seat on it

Wow, I got to ride it for a whole month!

Be on the lookout my friends, thanks in advance...............

DAMN. That sucks. Hope you get it back and just have to wash blood off of it.
Those 950's can be a bit of a handful.
When they recovered my 650 a few years back it had a huge chunk of skin on the triple and blood everywhere, I suppose the idiots that stole it smashed the end off a finger while trying to punch out the ignition. It made me smile.

I have a big Onguard chain and 2 nice heavy cable locks. If I'm traveling and stay at a motel I lock down. However, I never lock up at Campgrounds. There was always a sense of trust.

Hell, I'm going to Loretta's trail ride this weekend. A good 1,000 people will be there and I mean they are good people. I don't lock my vehicle, trailer or my bikes there. Riders don't steal from each other and there is safety in numbers.

Sunday night I was the only number, besides the few "permanent" campers. My gut instinct was one of them had something to do with it and I told the cop that.

    Who the F steals a 950 SE ?
That bike stands out like a Ferrari.
Hopefully it sits in a barn till it shows up.
One things for sure - if whoever stole it tries to outrun the cops on it, they better be one mother effer of a good rider.

    Sorry about the bike bro.

They assigned an investigator to the case and Sunday morning I talked to him in person before going home. He said one cop knows about everybody in town. I also placed an ad in the Lewis County Herald with a $500 reward and emailed a pic. It comes out Thursday.

Maybe $500 will entice some dopers to snitch

I always keep a big padlock for the rear sprocket, and a logging chain. Not for protection from my riding neighbors, but from the theives and cracked who spot an opportunity.

Best of luck with your case.

That sucks, tragic. Interested to know how it works out with insurance.

I'll keep my eye on Craig's list.

Posted to COG website today. There are several locals there that could keep an eye out. It's not like that's a run of the mill everyday bike.

Wow. Definitely this theft bugs me the most of any bike theft I've heard of. I have a 950SE too and surprised anyone would try to steal that bike. It's such a distinct community that knows that bike. If it pops up on CL or similar, I bet we'd find it. If I see that out anywhere I will find out what's going on.

Sorry man, hope you get her back.

I'm trying to stay positive, as I can't imagine what they think they are going to do with it in the end game.

There is literally one for sale on craigslist in the country right now.

They chose a very poor bike to steal.
