Looking at a last minute decision to run out that way Friday night. Depends on if I crash out of the LBL200 again.

Favorite band, don't think I can swing it. But should be able to get out and ride 14 15.

    Hi all,

I have volunteered to make dinner for the group on Saturday night. The plan is to make a traditional chili and a three-bean vegetarian chili (mild to almost medium heat), with Frito corn chips (scoops), cheese and onions. Also, bringing unsweet and sweet tea as well as cookies or brownies for dessert. I will also bring cups, bowls, napkins and plastic spoons.

I won't be riding this time (knee injury) but am looking forward to checking out the bikes! I will be in a dark gray Land Rover LR4 and will be serving the food out of a white and orange REI shelter tent set up near the LR4. Looking forward to meeting new people and providing food for those supporting a good cause.

Please let me know if you're "IN" for the meal and do you want meat or veggie so I can have an idea of how many to prepare for.

    Thank You,

    Eigerhiker

It was a good ride for sure, special thanks to Eigerhiker and Cinnamon for the chili Saturday night, and to the girls for organizing the event. We ended up riding a lot of the same roads as the Blue Ridge Adventure ride the week before, but the good long rain Friday night really made the trails so much better. The moisture in the soil kept the dust down and the traction was so much better.
