Agreed.....And nice to see the really heavy bicycle brake cable nipples have gone from your wire locking.....:D

According to Google.... Vape machines use Ti wire as heating element type stuff, and you can buy it easily, so maybe possibly all that heavy SS wire could be replaced with Ti, and if you tickle it with a bit of heat it goes pretty colours....

    Carry on....

Seeing "Fowlers" on GP winning sidecars, takes me back.

The ex was from Brizzle, when ever we visited the outlaws, I would find reasons to go have a browse.
Did they have any other shops apart from there?

Been working on small stuff but mainly foot peg hangers, expect lots of holes. 6082 T6 plate scavenged/recycled.
    My favorite lube pictured..

These little things I made up in an electric drill with a file to make a centre point grub screw thingy. Wind it in then line up plate and whack with mallet to centre punch, technical I know!

Had to weld a tag on right hand side for master cylinder and left hand side cos I cut too much off! Tab for exhaust hanger.

Got some actual stainless bar weights (modded slightly) to match paddock bobbins, look good may polish a little.

Spotted the plug cap/orange lead combo matches the K&N sticker supplied with filters, odd colours but why not?

The foot peg needs a fettle to work properly but fits in vertical.

7.30pm and I now need to shove a quick sausage in and head back to work and get the folder with the wiring diagram for tomorrow. I drew it up with a colleague so I could take a day off tomorrow to do wiring and of course, no diagram :doh:doh:doh:doh:doh
I have tonight finished off the mechanical work on rear brake. Not finished finished but at least I can bleed the brake later tonight. Rear brake has a pressure switch as my testing station won't let it through without a brake light, don't like it though...
The plate is from my 6082-T6 stash as is the brake pedal extension. Front half of the pedal is made from the same gear lever I used on the other side so they will match at least. Pivots on a stub bolted from other side and held on with washer and circlip, should work ok I think. Foot pegs still need fettling but may do that tomorrow depending how wiring goes....

Looks to me like your brake pedal arm is going to bind with the brake master cylinder.
The arm wants to travel on an ark, whilst the master cylinder wants to travel in a straight line.
I guess if you have a lot of slope in the connecting joint, things might play nice.
Or loose the second screw on the master so it can pivot.
    Just sayin...
and....a first aid kit for those nasty pegs...been there done that with dirt bike pegs...and your poor boots...???
