Not if the rod has a ball and socket, which it most likely does. Knowing how meticulous the builder is...

Probably this ^ but what about the lever ratio? Normally there'll be something around four or five times the length of pedal before the pivot as there is after the pivot. This gives a good pedal travel with decent sensitivity when used with well-chosen master and caliper bores. Are we missing something? Or do you just like a super-stiff pedal, sir?

The pegs look like they'll happily rip off your leg and run off laughing into the night...

Thoroughly looking forward to hearing this one run. A spectacular build as usual!!

    Cheers... Paul

agree with DiggerD, also, where the lever pivots now will result in not much feel at the rear wheel and it'll act like a on/off switch. the flattrack style is to lean hard, and ease into the rear brake to smooth the transition to sideways. with the setup as-is, you'll get sideways sooner rather than later, that's for sure. It's a beautifully done lever though.
and hey, why aren't you consulting with "us" first? lol

Those pegs do look a bit scary.
I thought for sure that the bike would have a set of Bates on it. :confused

    Scars have to stay....

For the right one when kicking you could drill hole, add spring and ball bearing, just like most pillion pegs....

    Possibly...:confused

He wants to use the scarry pegs so he is not tempted to ride in flip flop beach wear whilst bar hopping.

I never raced flat track but I thought the rules required rubber covered foot pegs.
I don't know if they still do.

Ah, here is what one rule book says:

    Other Safety Apparel

Boots must extend above the ankles. Leathers are encouraged but not required. Long sleeves, pants, eye protection (googles or face shield) and gloves are required. Steel Shoe straps must be taped to your boot. Foot pegs cannot be bare metal; they must be covered with rubber or tape. Serrated MX style peg is allowed on the right side. (No unprotected blade or tubular style foot pegs) No exposed handle bar ends. Handle bar levers must have a ball on the end of them (no sawed off clutch levers). All oil plugs and fill caps must be safety wired. Liquid cooled engines are not allowed to run standard antifreeze (NO glycol based coolants). All motorcycle must have a working kill switch mounted on the handle bar near the grip on either the left or right side. (Compression releases are not acceptable as a kill switch).

Lots of pictures of tape on foot pegs, dragging and folded, at speed.

Very light, very compact, I think it's going to be very interesting to ride.
All ready for its trip up north to get its loud bits made.

    Have fun!
BTW, that strap over the bars doesn't look right. Looks like the bike will be free to tilt underneath it in either direction. Might want to get at least one wrap if nothing else.
    Just say'in.

Yes please, I'd hate to have you find your bike on its side when you get where you're going.
