Won't be able to make that date. Gonna be in Mexico (Copper Canyon). It's impossible to find a date that everyone can make. Who knows, the weather may turn to crap again. I will be back the following weekend.

Hmmm..I "think" I might be able to get your beemer on the trailer with the XR...trailer is really designed for dirt bikes and think your engine head may rub trailer frame..but you'd be most welcome to tag along!!!

knowatcha mean..the xr is geard for trails so top speed, and I mean wound up pretty tight, is 60mph..thus is why some of us are talking abt exploring some dirt roads over to that neck of the neighborhood..it's alot of pavement over to stroud lake..go due west of tallequah and it's abt half way between Tulsa and OKC on that turnpike..abt 60-70 west of tallequah..it's dooable on our puny bikes!

Offer still stands to stop in Fort Gibson Friday and stay overnight...get a good start on Saturday morning! Trailer in/ride in and all ride out Sat. Roughly 60 miles from there. Gonna meet Mr. Medlock in Beggs @ 1000 hrs. The route out for me is 62/16 east. Lemme know...! :ear

either way, might a good way to reduce the highway mileage.

It was a wise decision to move the date for this adventure. It was 19 degrees about the time I would have been heading out this morning.
