It's not bad, it is just the rear end that is ugly to me.
I dislike disc wheel covers and the goofy seat tail, what is that about?
But, easy fixes and they are excellent bikes.
Well, of all the bikes you posted, this one I agree fits the thread.
The others I like and would enjoy riding.
This one though, at first I thought it was a truly old bike but looking at it a while, I believe it is a custom build trying to look like an old bike.
If a manufacturer used wood for the main frame (it could have been done) I don't see them doing it like this.
It is creative and looks pretty well though out, and certainly nobody else will have one at a bike show, but it is not something I would show, or ride, or want to look at...
I like oddball bikes believe it or not, but this one just doesn't make me smile.
Ha! I shot the same contraption at a vintage meet in 2015.
That there bike is a winner... in this thread!
I like the idea of stripping down a Honda Valkyrie to build a lighter, meaner custom but this just looks so... hipster cool.
Sight tubes on the gas tank and radiator overflow tank?
A "tool" roll under the headlight?
No rear fender?
He's really going his own way and being independent.
However, and this is a big thumbs up for the builder, he didn't put those stupid 1940's Firestone tires on it!
awful....take a well made expensive machine and make it more expensive and shittier.
Sweet 32mm kick stand, I'm sure that drum brake will do wonders on the track...
Nobody can claim that they didn't see that bike stopping. I was thinking of putting more brake lights on my bike but not that many.
@nachtflug - Hey did you shoot that image? I have photographed that bike a few times. It used to belong to Dick Winger. He also had the original blue-prints and extra parts for that bike. After he died his wife sold off the collection but I never knew where they went. It is an interesting bike and sounded pretty awesome when running. Cool to see it out anyways.
which one I posted about 5 pics in this thread?
Not my photos, but I thought they were cool/ugly.
The Henderson 6. Sorry about that. When I seen it, it was the only one I seen in the post. Object fixation.
