Naw he wasn't there.
When I was at the show. I stopped at the Connex Booth at spoke with Lee for a while. He says the Dacre is big bike friendly. I asked about water crossings and he thought nothing over the pegs. There will be 3 large loops this year all returning to Dacre. All support will be a maximum 45 min away if required. Also the event now allows 24 hours to complete.
Still sounds like a tough event as Gronk states. I'm still interested in participating in the AVD Bike class.
Gents thinking about organizing a 3 - 4 day big bike adventure rally for Northern Ontario. Starting and ending in Sudbury. GPS navigation , with specials for the more advanced rider.
Distance 300 to 400 kms per day, stay at lodges , hotels or camping.
