So far have the following lodges confirming availability.
Flame Lake Lodge - just off of hwy 129 and Horwood Lake Lodge just west of Timmins
Currently waiting on Obabika Lake Lodge.
There is space for 6 riders, currently Mad Max, Beerfire, myself are in. This should be a great ride please let me know if you are interested.
Anyone up for some ice riding this weekend? Have the 1290 ready to go!!
I played on the lake for an hour yesterday so fun ! But man do I miss Katie wish she was studded other than just having me on her lol !
Looks like you had a hand full of throttle. Are you good for this weekend, Saturday or Sunday?
I should be yes ! Let’s touch base Friday
Ok, send me a call or email
You guys are assholes.
I'm in Longlac right now. Plenty of ice, no bikes. I'll be in Wawa for the rest of the week though, I'll see if I can snag a ride on my buddy's snowbike. He put a Camso 129 kit on his 300XCW.
I'm thinking I should stud some tires for my CR500 so I can chase Beerfire around next winter.
Hey Gronk, can you make the ride in September?
I'm not sure yet. Probably not. September is the busiest time of year for a school board.
Looking good Suds.
160 hp on ice.....GOOD TIMES!
September Ride update.
The following lodges will host us for dinner, bed and breakfast
Emerald Lake Lodge - Thursday Sept 6
Horwood Lake Lodge - Friday Sept 7
Flame Lake Lodge - Saturday Sep 8
Total cost per person before taxes = $ 340.00
Anyone up for a trial ride tomorrow? I'm going for a ride on the trails in Garson, towards Capreol via the Pole Line, see where they take me. Studded tires on the SAR are working great so far with the cold weather and ice.
Sorry starting around noon and back around 4:30
Here's a short video of the ride last weekend. Trails were hard packed lots of traction.
Nice would have been fun but I had just taken my studded tires off!
P.S. the info on the Dacre is out.
Awesome video, watched it twice....I would like to see your rear tire working though ice and snow...
Are you still interested in the Dacre? It looks Like they have a big bike friendly route this year no swamps or serious water crossings.
