    Anyone try these? https://www.sunax.com.au/
I don't like drop downs. They obscure my vision because my LS2 one does not come down far enough and is also not dark enough. My head only fits LS2 arai signet x and Bell MX-9 helmets. I chose to go with the MX-9 because I don't want to spend $600 on a lid. I do like the Bell MX--9. The vision is nice and large and fit is great for a $120 helmet + mips. But one gripe I have is the peak does not come down far enough to block the sun and the wind draft bounces my head around at 50-60mph. So I've removed the peak and was going to go with my old strip of duct tape across the top of the visor but when riding with the shield up I lose the ability to block the sun. I thought I'd give this a try. Has anyone had luck fitting it on an MX-9? sunax_bx_1_1__1.jpg

Not that helmet but I use them on two different helmets.
They work really well. Much better that I expected.

Cool ,Kingof. I just ordered one. I guess the company went out of business but you can still get them. Seems like a great idea. I'll give reviews!

Thanks tallguy. I looked into those but problem is when you lift the shield you lose the visor. Thanks though. I'll let you know how it works. By the way I ordered it from https://www.britishmotorcyclegear.com/brands/sunax-bx.html
I called today ,being Sunday I didn't think I'd get through. The owner answered the phone , and already shipped it off today. Very impressed. BTW if anyone orders one don't get the "dark" one . The silver one is darker than the dark.

Yep. I got mike from BMG. Met the owner a few times at the Cleveland M/C show.
    He's a very personable chap.

I'd like to find something similar instead having to carry a smoke shield.
Ekim, Do you know if the dark film can be used instead of wearing sunglasses?

No. The product keeps glare and sun out of the top part of the visor. It helps a great deal but one doesn't normally look thru it. it's mounted above the sight line.

LOVED MY SUNAX..... they don't fit in the SHOEI RF1100s so we stopped using them... wish they could make them for the 1200 and the Arai helmets. (removed 1200 due to my failing memory)

Can't wait to try mine . Seems like a clever idea. Those Germans are pretty crafty.

I've got the Shoei RF-SR. Do you think I'll have the same problem as you? In what way did it not fit your RF1200?

@JustNick if you can find a gap that will fit a credit card between the shell and the padding, you should be good... look at the design of the sunax, and stick a credit card up into that little sliver of a gap about a half inch. if it goes in on both sides and around, it will work. I mis-spoke earlier, it didn't work in our RF 1100s... the 1200 has the removable liner and they changed the design of the liner which seems to have allowed for the sunax to function again.
