Good riding today, pretty windy for sure. Nice breakfast, I had the chorizo. Sito had the burger and then much later :puke1 I couldn't make it up the big hill, 2 tries. I was low on gas and she was "sputtering" due to the incline, no really I was sputtering. As usual I somehow didn't end up riding with Javier's group. I missed some action but had fun much the same. The last part of the ride after the gas station was fun and fast, love the desert woops. I got some good videos but are too tired to deal with editing tonight.

...looks like some great riding. Some of those climbs look pretty steep.

Looks like Javi delivers the goods again. I'm recovering from shoulder surgery I had in October so right now I'm off the bike till mid january. Once I'm back on the scoot I'd like to extend the invite to all with small to mid size plated bikes for a ride from my house in Apple Valley. I can put together a spectacular ride for all, from great desert stuff in the am then after lunch head to mountains 4000-6000 ft elevation to wind through the Pinyons and Granite formations on lots of singletrack I've cut myself over the last 30 years. At the halfway point I have a sweet mexican lunch stop in Barstow then fuel up and head south through Lucerne Valley for the high elevation trails (not Big bear) then back to my place by dark. I do prefer saturdays for a ride like this.

    Warning: Not a noob ride

If any interest I will set it up for February.

Sorry I don't have any picture to contribute, left my camera sitting on the kitchen counter:becca had a blast! The hard pack sand bed bout 15-20 mile east of the airport with the patches of dead sod......now that was fun. Its like a wheelie proving ground :thumb Sito, hope you feel better, stay away from the airport ground round first thing in the morning. I think it's made with bird strikes. :huh

Don't know if it's related, but I was down and out all day yesterday with some sort of stomach flu wretching up my guts for almost three hours. Slept from 11am yesterday until 6:30 this morning.

This was the first time I've ever had the stomach flu in my whole life.................Not fun.
