    Hey Javier

I heard the X-Challenge forks could not be revalved? Not true? Which do you think would be better...revalving the stock forks or putting on a set of Shivers from a Husky?

Stock revalve or the shivers ,i put a new cartdige on danny's so i can revalve theme , but has to be right the first time otherwise has to spend the $$ in another cartdige ,i have the crimp tool for stock stuff so is easy, some shops don't like the spend the money on parts

    Javi

I have a set of Shivers. Can the cartridge from the Shivers be put into the stock fork? Is it easier to just press out the steering stem and press it into a new lower clamp to run the Shivers?

I think I'd rather run the stock forks if possible so I won't have to run wheel adapters.

    Thanks for the info Danny

I have Emig racing triple clamps, but the steering stem needs to be pressed out and then pressed into the new lower stem (upper clamp can be used with the Shivers, but I think it's thicker than stock near the lower clamp)...but if the Shiver internals can be used in the stock fork (maybe that's where he got the cartridges for your fork?) I'd prefer that so I don't have to use the funky wheel adapters.

I bought the triple clamps, steering damper, fork/wheel adapters from a guy who had them on his X. Just fishing for info. I need to drive out to Javi's shop and talk with him and show/tell him what I have. I will have Javi do the work cause I know he knows what he's doing. Met lots of guys that had him do their suspension...and they all say :evil :clap :evil :clap Besides...if I'm gonna spend the money, I'd like to keep it in our weekend ride group! :D

Wish I could afford a bling bling gold shock like yours for the back :D :lol3 oh yeah...and that huge gas tank too! :evil

Yea, that sure looks like me on the side of the hill. I gave it 2 tries and promise to make it up next time. There was an obstacle at the bottom to make sure you started from a slow speed.
