    My wife rocks.

Over 2 years ago she and I purchased 2 brand new Honda Super Cubs. They were sold in Mexico at the time. We bought them and brought them over to San Antonio.

2 years of ownership and only 850 miles (each) later, we decided to sell them. No one wanted them because we didn't have a US title so we decided to take them back to Mexico and sold them back to the dealership where we bought them.

We left early in the morning, both Super Cubs ready to hit the road

We packed as little as possible and since we knew we were going to ride in 100 degree weather, we wore light garments

We were able to take breaks under overpasses in the shade

We kept on going and going. My wife is pretty tough. I was really proud of her

Gassing up wasn't gonna break the bank

We stopped in Laredo for the night. We wondered what to do with the Super Cubs since they are so light. It would only take 2 guys and a pick up truck for them to disappear.

Problem solved: we brought them inside

We finally got to the shop in Monterrey. It was time to say goodbye.

In the end, the Super Cubs didn't suck. They took us from point A to point B - sure, at 45 mph - but it was fun.

It was by far the longest ride my wife did by herself and she needs to be commanded for that. She's still a new rider and she did really awesome.

I chronicled my ownership of the Super Cubs in Battle Scooters.

We're still in Monterrey. We are staying a few days with friends. We have several options for coming back. We haven't decided yet.

We rode 10 hours to make it to San Antonio. Not a lot of time for pictures...

But my new scooter is now resting in my garage
