    Regarding the shift linkage it's really just removing, cleaning and lubing the bold that the shift lever pivots on. Very easy.

    Mine kept getting sticky and would clean it. And it would eventually start doing again.
    Cleaned real good and packed it full of dielectric grease. For whatever reason it hasn’t bothered since.
