I have to admit, I hadn't watched any of your vids yet, but I clicked on the latest and it had me belly laughing on the floor! If the rest have the same commentary, I'll be going back to find 'em all and have a look see...

    Nathan, you are truly awesome.

Maybe your next tour you can come over and see some of us "Colonials" in Canada. We'd love to have 'Dot' here for a few...

I learned to ride on one of these (a CT 90) over 30 years ago - but here in NZ they use them for chasing the cows in to have the milk sucked out of them, not delivering the mail - the posties ride bicycles!
    :clap
    Cheers for the laughs!

If I had to ride either one as seen here, Dot would be my pick.

Dot's a quiet old girl isn't she? And a bit of a demon on the rough stuff. Wish I could find a bird like that!

    Hairnet,

Those are the most wornout leather pants I've ever seen on a rider. He must really hate to throw them out.

Oops.. that's the seat cocked up. Sorry.

Beer - this is one wicked idea! I'm in! Just imagine the scene - hundreds of riders roaring past, crowds lining the streets, girls fainting at the sight of Nathan, bikes stalling at the sight of Dot! It would be like being a part of history at the very least. The question is - would it be OK with Nathan and Dot? After all many thousands of miles would they need us, mere mortal supporters for the last couple hundred? I hope they wouldn't mind, I really do!

    Hi Nathan and Dot,

Bloody brilliant. Have just spent a lazy afternoon reading your RR instead of doing the oil change and new headlight lamp that I need in order to leave Quito. I blame it on the hangover.

The Annie Lennox clip was inspired. Nice to know someone else sings out of tune when riding. I also enjoyed the stuff about Pakistan as one of my best mates in the UK is Pakistani and I would love to go there on a bike with her.

Good luck with the rest of your trip and I hope you make it to England safe and sound.

    All the best,
    Annette

    Nathan,
Just a lowly lurker here. Left the thread when it was locked a few weeks ago.
Glad to see you and Dot back in action and the posts flowing again.
My best wishes and all the positive energy I can throw at you and Dot.
Looking forward to the continued tale and its conclusion.

Well I finally caught up. Thanks for sharing your adventure, Nate. You are much more eloquent than I am, so imagine lots of encouraging words here.

    Keep on riding.

There is currently an internet blackout in Xinjiang China; so we will have to wait for Nathan to hit the Stans before we get an update. Good luck Nate and Dot; keep on rolling:smile6
