T7 Skid plate compatibility

    I am replacing the stock skid plate. I have a SW Motec centerstand and Touratech lower engine guards on the bike. Does anyone know if there are any problems with any of the aftermarket skid plates fitting with centerstands or with the engine bars? Any advice will be appreciated. I am considering the AXP plastic plate, the ACD aluminum plate, the SW-Motec, and the Tusk aluminum plate.

    I’m pretty sure SW Motech skid plate won’t fit with the Touratech lower engine guards

    The Yamaha Rally skid plate requires minor sheet metal mods to work with the Touratech lower engine guards. If anyone needs information or pictures, let me know. It took me about 2 hours but would have been much less if I had had a sawzall with a metallic blade. The areas that were cutout were for clearance of the engine guard bars so the missing areas of the skid plate are insignificant regarding protection.
