    Great report, thanks for sharing!
I'm preparing a trip to Iran and central asia in June and July, and I have two questions:
How does it work with fuel? Did you get a fuel-card or did you use the card of guys of the gas-stations?
Do you have the address of mecanic shops for changing tires in Tabriz or Isfahan?
    Thanks

    Hi,

    sorry for not answering sooner...

You don´t need any fuel card. Just show up at a gas station and top up. There are plenty of stations scattered all over the place. Just make sure your bike can bridge 250 kms. And for safety reasons take an extra 5 liter jerrycan with you when crossing the deserts...

Unfortunately I don´t have any adress of tire shops. But it is no problem at all to find ´em everywhere. And if you really can´t find one ask any of the many bystanders for help and you will receive more support you can handle...:D

    Take care, Harti

    Hi Frederic,

fyi, the gas price in Iran was 25 Euro Cents per liter last October. So that´s not stressing your budget extensively...:clap

Great! The return to the prices in our countries must be difficult...

I really enjoyed this RR. It is refreshing to read about and experience these societies on a human level as opposed simply accepting mainstream media and political portrayal. Thanks for sharing!
