Looks like I'll have a KLR650 to ride to the "Castor River Adventure Rally" :clap I bought it from Kieth in NE Ga. I've got to go get it next week. Can't wait. See you all there.

Seems to me------you can make it as long as you like Too Tall--I recommend you taking Friday off. John is having the Barbecue on Saturday and Sunday--I just talked to him. I may be there for more days--I'll let you know closer to the event.

I wasn't going to go to the barbecue on Saturday anyway, as for me Saturday is "Big Ride Day" and the good riding is the other way-------but will try to hit it on the way home Sunday. Anyway--that was just my ride plan if I don't change my mind----if you all have other thoughts or ride plans that's fine----just have at it.

I may hook up with GasPipe on the way there------and may follow him towards "Casa GasPipe" on the way home:D ----whatever day we decide to go home----as hopefully I'll be unemployed :wings

Yep----------hope his broken hand has healed up by then. He should be good to go. It probably didn't do any good for him to ride 1,800 miles of Baja on a dirt bike with a broken hand.

The bones were about to stick out of the skin--but he crashed again and put it all back in place-----it still hurt tho :huh

A definate maybe? So what is the remaining variable in your consistently inconsistent indecisive decision? Is it the complete half of your partership acting as democratic dictator or the exact opposite.

Na Na-Na Na Na I know where the tramway is...

but that weekend is an impossible posibility for me unless it does rain, then I won't be able to plant. Pray for rain. One of my favorite mud holes is on the tramway.

:lol3 :uhoh Let's hope for lots of rain in Illinois. :thumb I recently decided that I'm going, rain or shine. I have some work around the house to take care of but I'm determined get them completed before that weekend. I'm making 'Tale of Beers' my motivator.

Yes what a choice Sscratch-------it's nice to be so lucky to have to make that choice tho !!!!!

Here's a link to last year for those not having any idea of what kind of great riding is down in Southern, Missouri-----I hear that there is a lot of curvy hilly pavement that needs ridden too----but we were inclined to avoid it.

There was a bridge--but we refused to use it.

Well the bike is new to me anyway. Its a 93 KLR650 that I went to GA. to get last Thursday. I'm happy with it so far. It's been well maintained and is loaded with aftermarket goodies. First good trip should be to the Caster River rally. See ya there.

No, I haven't been back to the gun shop. Still waiting on the FBI background check. I'm not as anxious as I was earlier. Maybe this weekend.

Thanks CC. That's a damn cool piece but I'm on a budget and this'll be my first, so I'm going with an old reliable. Remington 870 Express Super Magnum synthetic:[IMG]

It's waiting for me at Dick's Sporting Goods.
