Is there a place to check conditions in Colorado to see if some of the passes are open that would possibly be close on the way through?

Try the Regional Forums/Rocky Mountains and post the question. They are pretty good to help with info.

I just finished the Colorado portion of the TAT yesterday. The western half of Marshall Pass is closed due to road work at the bottom. Where the TAT comes into 149 from the east is closed until May 30 (Sign posted on the gate). California Pass has some snow on it still and was the only part with snow (pictured below). I did not do corkscrew.

I will be leaving on my trip around 6/8. If anyone wants to rude with me for any length of time let me know. I did not want to ride solo but am determined to do this.
I am hoping as I pass through certain areas I can get locals to at least ride through some of the tough sections with me.
I will be on an f650gs.

With Sam's blessing I've built an eastern extension of the TAT to the coast.

I've finished the GPS file and notes, it's up to Chip to start sending it - TET-S r4 - in Layin' Down Tracks - East Coast, here on ADVrider.

From my existing TET-S I've added two new extensions - the first is to Tellico Plains from two different directions - from the south and from the east. The second is from my SL (Southern Loop) over to Tybee Island east of Savanna.

So from Tellico you can head south and be at the Gulf of Mexico in 3 1/2 days.

Or you can head east and be at the Atlantic Ocean in about 3 days.

For those of you who really want to go 'Coast to Coast'! :clap

I have been watching for and reading and building a huge base of TAT notes over the last couple of years and I must say thanks to you NT for your inputs have been regular and very good. Thanks for the constant tips.
