You win the grubbiest boots pic! Despite warnings of mud bogs and intractable uphills, Maramarua was great fun, slippery downhills where I displayed a complete lack of control and co-ordination (3 faceplants) but the uphills were really tacky so as long as you wound it out in second and third it was fun riding. A couple of bogs were almost up to seat height but most were only 2-300mm deep with a tacky bottom so again very rideable. The Pussy Pounder is on next weekend now so Riverhead for next sunday!
