Waucheesi Mtn & BeaverDam Bald GPS Data & Pics Went on another Jeep adventure today.. doing some scouting for possible later DualSport motorcycle adventures.. Got some more pics and GPS data to share. We went up to the Waucheesi Mtn overlook and then onto BeaverDam Bald in NC. I had been to Wauchessi Mtn overlook many times before, but this was a first for BeaverDam Bald. Its a road to the right if you go up toward bald river falls right before you get to the OHV section on the NC side, theres road to the right, that goes up to a Bald.. its long road, and good and rough!!! I can't want to take the DR650 back up this one! Heres the GPS data, Pics to follow!! This is about 51 mile report one way, its about 20 or 30 out of there, we put in a good 109 miles total today. The track in the gpx file is only 50 miles. Vist Tennessee's (and Surrounding Areas) Online Offroad/Dualsport community at ... http://www.TnAdvRiders.com <!-- / sig -->

Those look like some of the roads that Phil Space , FreakinRT and I went down 2 years ago. I'll have to send them the link.
Good to see that the grass has not begun to grow any up top on B.D.B. I camp up there quite a bit, all year around. That used to be a good bit rougher than it is now, but an easy ride on any bike. Street legal bikes and cars/trucks are allowed up past the "T" in the road, leading up to B.D.B. That road actually runs along the TN/NC border, up to B.D.B. Have they blocked off the #2 trail? The real ROUGH road, for serious off-roaders????? with that guardrail? or is that from another angle? Boojum!
I'm not sure what that was, its early on the road tho before the T as u call it, according to map I looked at today, the T, if you got left goes into trail 2? and right goes on up to BeaverDam Bald? We went down a little ways to left, but turned around.. does that lead on to trail #2? There looked like a good size trail off to the right up near the end of Beverdam bald, going back sometime to see where it goes on the bike. I wish could tie it into a loop or something...
