Yeah, still putting the miles on the Concours. Hope to acquire a dual sport in the next few months. Glad you are still out there. Keep your thread going--it's good.

Humpfhh...let a whole web site die once, what's a little thread every now and then?

Kidding of course. Glad to hear you're still kicking.

    Hey J!

Gosh I totally missed your reply. Anyway, yeah picked-up a 690 Enduro and head out west about the third week of March. Returned July 18th. Two days later the 690 was on the market. Liquidated the Concours 14 and 690 last week.

Have you been out riding this year? A lot of time has gone by already. You should keep this thread alive. Plenty of interest.

At Barber now with pops. His Harley is blowing bubbles...may need to trailer it back to Memphis. Anybody got extra trailer space going back to the Bartlett area just in case we can't find parts locally?

Glad to hear from @8trackmind. Just not about bike fits you two are experiencing.

32,000 on the wee. It still runs great. 14,000 on pops HD....it may have burned a tranny bearing.
Appreciate the truck offer. Hopefully it won't come to that. Lol.

I've enjoyed this thread, being a Tennesseean meself.
All those state parks in west TN were my stomping grounds as a kid, growing up in Jackson and going all over fishing with my Uncle. Good times. Living north of Nashville now, but I've been at Barber Vintage every year for the last several as well. It's fun seeing people from my area do the same things I've always done, on the same site where many are on the other side of the planet seeing stuff I'll probably never see.
Keep it up, good things happen in Tennessee :D

Well I appreciate that. I had a lot more time to goof off when this thread started but I've really been slacking as of late.

In other news my Dad fixed the Harley Problem once and for all....
I started calling it "Shamu" and the name stuck.

Thank you! I'll just bullet point the boring story:
    • Lost the time to ride because of my job.
    • Lost the will to ride because of the stress.
    • Lost my job.
    • Got another job.
    • Regained the will to ride.
    • Went camping!

    • Wondered how/why I lost the will in the first place.

You definitely have the right to claim how 2020 sucks! Work and trying to maintain an apartment, to accommodate said work, has kept me from riding so much in this year as well. Plus, we did get quite a bit of rain for the first three or four months this year.

Even being laid off for 9 weeks this year, I've still put less than half my average yearly mileage on my bikes. It's just been a tough year for a lot of people. Glad to hear things are beginning to look up! I'm gonna take my DR350 for a small bike weekend as soon as I get off work this afternoon.

Glad to see you're climbing out of the funk 8Track. I bought a new in tent and sleeping bag in Oct 2018. Set it up in the shed to check it out and haven't had it off the shelf since. So sad....
And my riding slowed down so much this year I put an Antique plate on my 1981.

Thanks. 2021 is going to be a good a good year no matter what. Unless I die first. Sure would suck to get new tires and croak.
