I have tent space and dry parking for your bike. If you're staying overnight, you can camp in the yard, sleep on the porch, and if you're not creepy, possibly a couch. You can get a shower too. If you're cool, I'll even, feed ya, share my beer, and let you do laundry. You can relax in the evening to a DVD movie and popcorn, or hang out on my creek deck or at the fire ring while you rest your feet and moto seat.

I have many tools, a welder, a lift, and plenty of new & used KLR650 parts, spare inner-tubes, fasteners, etc.
There are a few moto dealers, plenty of restaurants and other services between a 7 and 20 mile radius of my home.

If you're from Canada, bring me a bag of Purity Hard Bread, Neilson Jersey Milk bars, Kraft peanut butter, or a can of Nestle/Carnation After Eight mint hot cocoa mix if possible!

If we haven't been there, it's on the list.
We're now in just outside of Woodstock, Vermont (VT) and happy to host ADVers. We've moved from New Hampshire into the woods of VT. We're 3/4s of the way up a mountain, with 2.6 miles of town maintained dirt road to get here. We are on 16 acres and have some great ways to come and visit. Gravel road and trail riding around here is excellent. Lot's of very twisty paved roads too.

If you want to camp, we have nice, flat acreage with a pond and a huge fire pit (think visible from space). We also have a house, barn, 3 vehicle covered area (attached to the barn) and workshop with a lift and tools.

If you'd like to stay indoors, we have a spare bedroom, full bath, laundry facilities, TV and a PC with FIOS for connection to the outside world. All are available to you.
Beer is good, wine is fine, shared stories of travels are expected. :freaky

Email us at ridetoadv (at) gmail dot com or phone at (eight 0 two) 6 seven 2-one 1 one 5. If we are around, you have a place to stay.

    Welcome to VT!

Close to York, PA. Just about five miles from the US-30 Bridge over the Susquahanna River.

    Ammenities include:

    Huge yard for tents
or you can use the large covered porch if it's raining
or just crash inside if it's cold.
    Laundry
    Showers
    Kitchen
    Internet/phone
    Tools and garage space

Stop in for a night or three; have a beer and take a load off

All that I ask is for a day or two of head's up to make sure that I am going to be around. If it is a weekend, we can fire up the bonfire and make a party of it. We do have a big and very friendly dog along with two cats, so folks with allergies may want to stock up on your meds.

I'm 50 miles west of Chicago in St Charles, Il. I am south of Interstate 90 and east of Interstate 39. I have space for camping, a garage with lift and tools for repair, and a trailer to help haul you if you need it ( sometimes ). Well versed on the whole northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin area. Have a Honda dealer 5 miles away and a BMW dealer about 25 miles away.

Just off I-80 (everyones favorite slab). Garage for bikes, tools if needed and tent space/treehouse and shower for riders.

Wife won't dig drop-ins, so please PM in advance.

    Brent

    Have to add this EDIT.

As of Sept. 1, 2015 the treehouse is open for visitors. Insulated and with electrical/Wi-Fi, it sleeps 2 on a pull out couch and has a sleeping loft for kids.

I have a couple of acres in a tiny town called New Melbourne on the south east side of Trinity Bay a short walk from the beach.

My little apple orchard in the back yard is an excellent tenting option and the outdoor shower is only 200 feet from that. Plenty of trees for hammocks too.

If I'm home and the weather sucks I have 4 bedrooms upstairs for just such occasions, garage for maintenance, beer drinking etc. I have plenty of tools and a bike lift.

Edit: we are renovating to turn our place into a B&B for touring motorcycles so will become a business. As of right now come and stay for free.

The local BMW dealer is my shop sponsor and the best mechanic on the island-let me know if you need anything. I have a trailer so can transport bikes if need be.

PM or email me or phone seven 0 nine, 5 eight 6 2643 for directions and my whereabouts before you come. These days I'm often far away working but there are always options.

There's pretty much always beer in the fridge, feel free to drop in and say hello.

    Cheers
    Mike

If I am in the country, depending on "things" I may have a spare room. Garage with tools, welder, air, trailer if needed, maybe an extra bike if needed too. Close to most dealerships. Beer store 3 minutes.

    Calgary or Red Deer.

I'm in TJ (that is... Tijuana), la libertad section, west side of the airport. 4 bedrooms, plenty of room for a few. I have some tools, but not much, I know a few local bike shops here in TJ + there is one under 10 miles away in the US.

EDIT 02 Jun 2011. I don't live in that big house anymore, but I can offer a place to sleep, fewer tools than last time, and still close to the Otay Mesa Border Crossing.

EDIT 20 Mar 2012. I'm building out my tools and space again. I have capacity for most repairs, compressor, a few spare (used) knobbies, work bench, lighting, couch and TV.

EDIT 21 Mar 2013. I'm now located in Herlong, CA, 1 hour north of Reno, NV. I have tools, garage and a fridge to store your beer. I still have a place in TJ that is available, but only to sleep for a night.

EDIT 23 Mar 2015. I used this thread in 2013 when riding through El Paso. I got a good night's sleep, and good meal and good company. As always, thanks to the guys that monitor and update these threads and maps. They deserve a thank you from everyone that's used it!!

And now, my updated location is, in Fort Worth, Texas and sharing a house so I don't have space of my own to offer. I can offer extraction and transpo however.

EDIT 05 Apr 2016. I am mobile around the country and at this time cannot offer reliable housing or assistance. Update to follow if/when I settle down.

EDIT 03 Mar 2017. I'm still mobile and don't have garage space, but can offer a warmish pullout bed in my RV trailer to sleep on. I'm in Palmdale, CA currently with frequent trips to Tijuana. If I can be of help let me know.

If your passing through north east Ohio, we have a place for you.

14862 Thompson Ave, Middlefield, Ohio, 44062

We've got space for your tent, secure garage, a couch and flushy toilets. Also have a tire changer, tools, bike lift, and we get next day shipping from 3 moto gear distributors that we are dealers for. Also walking distance to a decent bar, and a nice Amish buffet restaurant.

Also reasonably close to dealerships for Honda, Harley, and BMW if you need parts or service. We also have truck and trailer to haul bikes if you need a roadside rescue.
    Can be reached at 440-313-1069.

We're near Pullman and Moscow, and have several acres, so lots of tent space. Outside shower and toilet facilities, full shop. Maybe a fire if it isn't too dry. I'm sure we could find a place to camp out in a wierd farm building if its raining. PM me, or jlannigan-at-pullman-dot-com, or 509.432.1857. The Palouse is particularly nice in May & June - come visit.
