Probably is a question of homologation. I woudn't be surprise if one day they offer an RR with long suspensions.
Meanwhile we can enjoy this fantastic bike with "short" suspensions

I appreciate you like the Yams. Thanks!

270mm is not officially homologated. However, allegedly the suspension architecture is easily capable of longer travel, for closed-course use of course. I have no firsthand proof of this, though.

Does the Xplor Pro fit the Standard 790 Adventure? and how much does it raise the seat height of the Standard model?

Seat height does not matter. Maybe on a endurobike.

I think it does when the bike is not light and is used @ urban environment on an everyday basis.

    Juamev,

Loved your S10 build. And your 990 builds.

Excited how your 790 build will turn out.

    Thanks for the suspension comparo.

I’m still riding my 950 Adv RR with upgraded 265mm susp. and am still enjoying it immensely. Luckily I can touch feet down and have strong upper body to counter the weight.

But father time is creeping in on me and a lighter bike is inevitably in my future.

    Keep pointing the way.

Has anyone installed the Xplor Pro on a standard 790? Interested to know how much the seat height has risen...

Does anyone know if it's possible to install WP Cone Valve forks from a KTM enduro bike?
