Have been off line for awhile and just found this thread tonight. I read through all of it to catch up on your latest adventures. True life adventures really are beyond what anyone can make up and yours keep all of us coming back for more.

Congratulations on your birthday present. It looks awesome and I know is even more fun to ride. Nice to see someone is really making the most out of retirement.

    Go have fun!

I have $10,400 invested, all the stock items are also included along with the Wolfman bags....would like to get $6,500 for the bike....paid $2500 for the trailer....would like to get $1800 for it.

Here is the build thread showing all that was done to the bike....https://advrider.com/f/threads/tewster2s-dr650-build.1268302/

Las Vegas odds makers are taking bets as we speak.

I’m betting on an Africa Twin

My thoughts are the tewster is moving away from off pavement. The lighter bikes are great when encountering that, but there’s nothing like a big bike when out on the open road. I ride a BMW F650GS and while it is a very capable adv bike, when I get on my R1200GS it is so much more “rewarding”. Tewster has the Talon to satisfy his taste for dirt, and while the SuperVan is great, there’s just something about leaving it all behind and living off of and burning up miles on a big bike...just my opinion.

WR or 250 Rally is my guess. Whoever gets the DR will not only get a "far better than stock", but The Cleanest on the planet. Can't wait for the next build. Safe travels T2.

    Probably gonna get a 250 Rally :-)

Anthony said he’d sell me his brand new one with all the goodies for about 6 bucks.

I am considering a Talon. Some have expressed concerns over jerky throttle pedal and cab heat. Do you have an opinion on these?

Jerky throttle is only your foot bouncing...easy to overcome....heat in the cabin is not a problem....I don’t have any problem with it. All is good.
