Damn! That's what I get for dropping off the thread. That was a nice DR build. Do you still have the trailer?

With an imaginative remodel of the Starship, she'd hold the XT down the center (hallway) or as you know there are some pretty nice and capable carriers available. Looking forward to the XT build as well Rapturee! Oh, a new thread "Where in the world is Tewster" might be interesting. And, T2, if you're on 95 near Pedro's, head south, quarters are available as well as camping by the pond with 30 Amp. Welcome anytime.

Thank you sir! I’m back in Utah for a few months. Heading to NM next week to visit my good buddy Len and his beautiful wife Chris. Then it’s back up to Colorado to drive some of the passes in he buggy. I’ll be in touch should I pass near your casa :thumb:thumb

Next month is gonna be a blast here at 3Step. Got the DR650 Rally the first weekend then two off road classes then the Alpine Rendezvous the last weekend. Gonna be busy! Life is good.

Got the buggy build finished. Will post photos tomorrow.

I know ADV is a bike thing but for those of you that are interested before I start a new 250 build here is the finished buggy.

Method Race wheels, 30x10-15 Tensor Regulator tires, JEI spare tire rack, Warrior snorkel to get the air intake up out of the dust, Ram mount GPS mount.

Got the dampening and preloads set just the way I want. Rides real smooth...just like me...

Looks good, just wondering since you have plates on it, can you drive it on the street in other states?

Lookin' sharp Tim, can't wait to see it! I was not able to swing a wr250r this year, so i very well may just run down there to 3-Step for a few days just to hang out and ride the Mokey that i forgot all about last trip! At least one of my boys has mentioned wanting to go with me so i may just grab the mini-van and trailer the NC700 that trip. He really likes the new RTT i got for it! :{)

The Sienna gets great mileage even with the RTT on top of it. 26mpg average on the interstate! As the time gets closer i'll update you if i can make it. :{)

Yes many western states it's totally Street legal...some states (CO), are county by county...it's street legal on every road here in Utah except the interstates.

The Talon is perfect for Utah and the SW. Pack some water and lunch and ride for days. T2, you know how to live!

I’m just gonna get a 6x12 single axle trailer with a rear ramp. I should be able to put the bike sideways in front of the buggy. I’ll be picking up a trailer next week.
