You too! See you in about two weeks
hahaha yep...you ready to go to Baja?
Possibly in late April.
Hey Patrick got your sticker on the board. Looking good!
You betcha I am.
This morning is laundry morning....Rob, the owner of the Holiday Motel, rides a 500 Ktoom....we’re gonna ride some nice NF roads around the area today.
Had a great ride though the mountains with Rob today...he took me on some outstanding gravel roads.
+ 10 on what Tim said about the Holiday Motel. Great place. I will be staying there again anytime I am nearby.
You are welcome. I really enjoyed the ride. I like your pace. I could almost keep up on my Superbike. Sad, that with all that wonderful scenery, these guys were the cutest human specimens I could find to photograph.
Heintooga! GREAT road!
Great to meet the SC Crew in MV. Wish the weather had cooperated. It's all about the people you meet along the way. The Holiday Motel (not the chain) in Maggie is owned and operated by some good folks who also happen to love to ride and explore. Like Folly 1 and T2, I'll be back. Thanks T2 for the invaluable info on your Van build, riding and your many travels.
The little bike, the Parkway, and me are getting along just fine today.
In Maggie one more night before I head to Florida...pouring down rain here at the Creekwood Farms RV Park...and guess what I'm doing...I'm elbows deep in editing this years travel video
I’ll trade you, today in SE Wisconsin, Happy Halloween.
Holy Moly I think I’ll pass on that offer
djroszina I feel your pain. I got in a ride Monday afternoon. It's snowed twice since then, and the second pass was serious, like 5". It's frickin' Halloween! What's going on?! As you can see from the upper pic, grilling has become a bit more challenging. The next several days look no better. Guess it's time to flee south, er, winterize the bike and get ready for winter sports. Of course as soon as I put the bike on stands and cover it the temps will be back in the 50s but oh well...
Tewster may have the right idea with the Sprinter camper...
That's an interesting rack system. How does racking a bike on the rear affect the Sprinter's handling. I thought about doing something like that, but figured that much weight hanging off the back would affect the driving, and not in a good way...
Of course your Honda 250 is a bit (lot) lighter than my BMWG650GS. Hmmm.... am I talking myself into a second bike?
The rear rack is not a problem. When I tow my trailer I have about 300 pounds on the hitch. Same with the rack and bike. The van handles fine. Get another bike
