Interested to see what you think of the ipad. I traveled with only an ipad for a while. Yes you can do everything that you can on a laptop (almost), but some things are much more of a PITA. Bought the small MacBook Air and the ipad is long gone.

    Safe travels!

I used an Air for years and now trying the iPad this trip. It should do what I need it to do which is email, backing up a few photos and vids, and posting to my ride report. Yes it’s easier to type on the laptop but I’m getting used to it. I could use my iPhone for email and postings but I like a bit bigger screen. Im pretty brutal with my reviews so if the iPad doesn’t work out I’ll toss it in the trash :lol3

I’ll be heading out early Wednesday morning to catch up with Jeff and Ben. Stopped by the mt house to make sure the yard is looking good before I continue on.

I sharpened the blades on my John Deere tractor so I could slam through the forest that grows every other day.... was going great until I ran over a well place rock the fookin squirrel I’ve been trying to dispatch had hidden in the grass. Bastard. I heard the ping that surely negated my sharpening. I spent the next few hours sitting on the porch with my rifle looking for the little shit.

    A review.

I have to wear glasses these days to read. Hard to see the Gps with readers. I got these from amazon. Built in readers. Well made and really clear optics. And you know me...they’re only $10 :thumb

This is the rear Mitas Dakar with about 30 miles on it. I’ll report the wear as I go along. With the way I ride I should get around 50 to 80 thousand miles out of it. I’m runnin about 38 psi.

@Tewster2 Tim, I thought you sold the MT house? Did you throw in a year (minus 3 months summer) of yard upkeep to close the deal:)

Thanks for the invite but I’m planning on hauling butt out as far as Ft Smith on Wednesday night. Want to put about 750 miles in then rest a bit. I’ll surely keep in touch with you and maybe on the way back I can swing by. Much appreciated!

    Hey Tim,
If you make it to Fort Smith, you may want to check out Calico County restaurant. I eat there every time I head back east. It's good ole home cookin.
I just put some Mitas' on my beemer today so I can be like you! I'll see ya'll on 6/6. Ride safe.
