If taking I10 West, Head north on 183 towards Austin, TX. Several miles up the road is Lockhart, TX. Great Texas BBQ!!! Lockhart is midway between the interstate and Austin. Not far out of the way at all, but we’ll worth it.

I'm not sure, how long it would take to upload. Can't imagine it taking more than overnight at the worst.

Weather wise, it's cold right now. Going to be mid 50s for highs and 30s for lows from Sunday through Wednesday. Not sure after that.

Sounds good. I’ll get with you about my route. All is fluid :-) I’m not taking a bike on the shakedown run so I get to wear shorts and flip flops :lol3

Well, that's basically the best riding in Texas if you plan on catching 41 to 336 to 337 to 335. Which, I 'spect you'll do, being that you're the Tewster and all.

You'll miss my neck of the cedar pollen in Weatherford which is good 'cause then I don't have to explain to my wife why I offered to buy dinner for a total stranger.

Hey Tim I'm in the Woodlands, would love to put eyes on the van. If convenient could meet ya in Conroe for a cup, won't take up too much of your time.

Tim, I'm too computer stupid to figure out the Private Mail Opt. There is a Cracker Barrel on I45 just north of the Loop336. Several more colorful Mom&Pop's relatively close. Mabye GregDavidL can join or think of a better place. Guess it depends on you ETA.

    Cracker Barrel will work.

Unless Tewster wants BBQ, then we could go to Vernon's. 105 going towards the lake. Just past where he's showing turning right on 105.

Looks like this is evolving into a “waltzing across Texas” tour.

Copy that Vernon's would be more convenient, Tim let us know where your taste buds lead. Both are fine w/me.

For me, there are only three food groups...BBQ pork, chicken, and beef...Vernon's it is :lol3
