I wouldn't worry about the locals in TUK........the concern should be all the other inmates on ADV Rider seeing those pictures of you brave....er....foolhardy souls
skinny-dipping in the Arctic Ocean. They may have to close down this thread, due to all the photographic pornography. :happay

I watched the episode of races to places where Lyndon Poskett took the bus to Prudhoe Bay and he and a woman skinny dipped the arctic. No one seemed to care.

I'm not one to believe in conspiracy's, however, just a hint of possible nudity and all of a sudden the road is closed.....

It won't be me, as my small travelin' band of misfits won't reach TUK until 11:32 am on June 19th...2018.

So I expect that a few others will be there before we will, and they should be able to post...and if not while they are IN the hamlet of TUK, they can post when back in Inuvik.

I wonder who will be the first to post riding their bike from somewhere in the lower 48?... I know, I’m a snob.

Cemil is leaving this week, I'm guessing he will be first in on two wheels riding from DC.

Arrived at Tuk today with my wife on our 1150GSA. Road is good most of the time except for a 10km section with road work. Very deep and soft gravel. Go slow...
The stickers idea is great. People like to sell it. Good for the comunity. Pay also a visit ro the RCMP. Very nice people and they sell some cool shirts as well.
Safe ride to all, Annette + Andreas

I got to the start of the road but weather reports dictated that I not make the attempt. Reports of crashes. Snow & ice. Soft gooy road surfaces. A few days can make a world of difference to road conditions up there.
