How about you get the answer when you buy the sticker?
So now I have to go back to find the answer? My wife is going to kill me.
If you could prove you were there than @TravellingTartar could PM you the answer.
Or, I could think of worse things to be killed for
Does this help:
Approved for answer release!
Will pm answer to worthy souls, after I’ve digested the 300000000 calories I ate at Christmas!!
Okay, here goes, might as well be transparent. I hope I don't get into trouble.
Apparently there was a spelling mistake/dispute on the Inuvialuktun portion of the sign. The elders were not happy and decided to board it up. A decision is pending on when they'll put up a corrected and agreed upon version.
Hope this helps.
That only half answers it...kind of like how a politician speaks, so what did it actually say, spelling aside? And what do the elders want it to say?
It they took my advice , it will soon say " Admission $ 20 "
That reminds me, DisneyWorld is opening a ride called “The Road to Tuk”. It has motorcycles and mud with bears and mosquitos. For an additional payment you can get med evac via helicopter...
I am pretty sure they will have a reality TV show out soon. Starting rumours
Heading up to Tuk in July. I am sure the answer is buried in this discussion somewhere but where do I go to get a sticker when I get to Tuk? Trying to figure out whether I need to avoid Sat and/or Sunday if case the establishment is closed.
I got my sticker at the store. And if you're inclined, this is a much better place to swim in the arctic than at the actual end of the road. It's a real beach style access, instead of the big breaker rocks.
Thanks for the map! Looks like the northern store sells them and is open on Sun. Any idea what the ref to the RCMP outpost in relation to the stickers was about?
On the map ,the red dot above I in sticker is where I watched some of the locals carve up a buluga whale and share it with the entire community
Store where they sell stickers was closed when we were there, so I emailed the lady in charge and she gave me her address so I could mail her a check and a pre-paid self addressed envelope and she mailed me the stickers
Northern store has short hours. At the entrance to town theres now a “visitors center” and private RV park. The owner is Vince, he may be someone to talk to
Could you please share the address? I got there late in the afternoon and really would like to get my sticker.
