I don't think I'd need a map or even a gps for the ride to Tuk :lol3

The metropolis around Eskimo Lakes could really turn a person around.

Don't know if it will be any help at all, or usable by you, but National Geographic has maps that show the details of the Yukon and NWT, including the route up to Tuk.

I have a large wall map above my office desk, that shows all of the USA, all of Canada, including the inset for Alaska, and that inset also shows the Yukon/NWT, with Inuvik and Tuktoyaktuk......even spelled out all the way. :-)

Thanks. For now, for the presentation, I’m using a laminated Nat Geo map of Canada with the Tuk road dry markered in.

Gee, that was fast. I only recommended that a few minutes ago, and now you are using the map I suggested. :-)

Maybe I should suggest we change the President, and treat our Veterans better. Naw, those things have already been suggested by others. :jack

That Nat Geo map is a good one to use. :thumb

I'm thinking maybe a good dramatic presentation would be start with map without the Tuk road and then while talking about it being built draw it in. :ilmostro

I like this 'ride the bike to Tuk' concept.

That Inuvik-Tuk road looks very dirt-bike-able. (if that's a word)

    hmmmmm.....

I wonder if they have decent omelettes up there.

Is that your current plan? Arrival June 19? If so we'll definitely have to make plans to cross somewhere on the Dempster while I'm headed back down.

Yes, we will be in Inuvik late on the 18th....ride to Tuk on the 19th, and then back to Inuvik after having lunch in Tuk, spend a 2nd night in Inuvik on the 19th, then ride back down to Dawson City on the 20th.

Great. We can email closer to the date but I think we might cross paths somewhere around Eagle Plains. Wait, just realized, we will also be at D2D at the same time. So yes, we will definitely cross paths. Great.
