Yep, daughter has one for her social work, travels for free on planes sitting at her feet. She did have a face off with a cafe manager in Melb. who refused entry, resulted in other customers walking out without paying and declaring never to return.

Some good facilities for dogs on a walk trail - a water bowl (on a chain) & spring tap with doggy-do pick-up bag dispenser.

Here I am, master of all I survey, I am referred to, around here, as "Iron Paw"

    Bloody Hell dog.......

I don't give a rat's arse what you found under there, you are supposed to be running over the flamin backs of the sheep.

So, after a long consultation with the do... um.. Dies..., oh all right Iron Paw, we decided sheep were not the go any more, only took somewhat of a lifetime to come to this decision.

Must admit, will miss treating pizzle rot in the rams, flystrike on the ewes, various lice & ked infestations, and of course the bloody barbers poll worm, which only the most expensive drenches will partially kill.

Only fun left now, is to be trampled by cattle.....

edit, do not know how the bloody hell that file became attached below..

We no longer have any sheep (or cattle) but still have 4 dogs here that now just laze about all day looking for a pat and eat. The oldest one would be 18 years old or close to it.

Bloody sheep. My neighbour runs a few sheep and a couple of weeks ago I allowed myself to get roped in to spend a day drafting, drenching & transporting his flock to another property with higher and dryer pasture. It became necessary due to the excessive rains we'd had & my neighbour was on holidays up in beautiful weather in Exmouth so I was helping his son doing this sheep work on a showery cold day. Bloody sheep.

(I did get some cash and some nice fish fillets for my trouble.)

You should have grabbed yourself a roast and a few chops as well. Plus some off-cuts for Willow.

I grew up eating mutton, not a big fan now. I only buy it occasionally for Willow.

So did I, then didn't have it for 40 years. Now I love it. Well lamb, not so much mutton.

I do miss home killed and suitably aged (for a decent period) older mutton. I find lamb to be bland.

Two-tooth hogget is my favourite, but can only get it when a mate butchers a few.

This little fella has been gone nearly 4 years, I still suffer PTSD over his death. Smallest dog that I have ever owned, but the one dog that had the biggest character and was totally loyal . Sadly taken out by a crack head in a jacked up 4wd, 2m from the road whilst sitting as told. I still have flashbacks to the day.

Sad to hear that Bundy, of Tex & Bundy fame, passed away on Thursday. She was 15 years old and loyal to Tex to the very end. Between them they've done much for ADF veterans over the years.
