You can run but you can't hide in a paddock.
Rosie's big day out
This is very impressive.
Wow, such a clever dog. I just hope that all the time it must have taken to train him to do those tricks he was enjoying himself and not wanting to just be a dog.
Mals are smart buggers alright. They need plenty of exercise and then some. Constantly craving stimulation like most working breeds. Often wondered which one would outlast the other at the end of a day, a kelpie or mal. I think the mal may have the edge.
My daughter got Sammy as a 7yo birthday present; the kid is now 20, so Sammy's a pretty old pooch.
We recently discussed whether we'd get another dog when Sammy eventually passes on, ending up with "no".
Blow me down ... Kim comes home with a Maremma puppy.
Cute as billyo, but everything we've read since says "Maremma - not suitable for a pet", "Maremma - will never respond to come & stay", "Maremma - grows to a giant size", et cetera. Kim plans on keeping the two as inside poochies, both sleeping on her bed. Only six months old & Momo is already well past Sammy's size. Oh my gawd, it's an interesting time.
Cheers - Gavin
