You're a braver man than me. Would love to paint over my plate but the cops would pull me over in no time.

Anyone know a source for the service manual besides Rugged Roads?

So we did some MUD today. Nealo said: "It'll be fun. Only rained two mills."

Now if that is two mills, I'll never run out of water on my block!!! LOL. But seriously- the front mudguard is not very sturdy. Bit of mud inside, and it grabbed on the tyre and completely ripped off. Luckily, none of the ABS sensor wires or any of the other important bits, and I it didn't end as badly as it did for the 800GS rider on those Youtube clips, but definately something to watch if you're doing the sticky

thanks to show us this. This weakness was mentionned before. Why Honda did it like this? Even to put the mudguard higher is not easy (break line)

Africa Queens (from Germany) is planning a rally conversion kit. It would look like this[IMG]

I'm not really interested in the complete kit. But I asked Africa Queens if they would sell a high fender conversion kit seperately and they confirmed. Prductionprocess will start end of March.

That's terrible and, unfortunately, was anticipated and predicted. Thank you for sharing! Nothing tests a bike like real life experience by real owners. I'm surprised Honda went with this design and hope they'll redesign at least the front brake lines. Since they do market it as an off-road machine, they should address this. Maybe NHTSA should be notified as soon as possible as it is a known safety hazard.

    It looks like Honda designed a break-away feature in the front fender :-) . . . The S10, GS800 & Tiger 800XC have similar cross-over brake lines/low fenders.

All should be upgraded to dual brake lines w/high fender if you plan to ride in muddy conditions . . .

My order has been confirmed by Honda. (Colorado) I put $500.00 down on the first red DCT bike they will get. It will be shipped from US warehouse 7-28-16 or sooner. :happay

In this shipment they are also getting 2 silver DCT and some manual models in each color.
The following shipment 8-29-16 the will have 3 red DCT coming in but I don't know what else.

Now to sell Wing and DRZ.
