Cool race with the TA, mate. Not many people race that thing ...
Err, just found some pics of a recent AT meeting. Here are some mods:
Oh my... I've gone and nut'd allover meself!
I love the look of the wore down part where the rider sits
Dirk and Greg:
You are awful, awful men.
But, um... please keep it coming.
3 TA's , an XLV750,a 650AT and a CX650 with knobbies on a trip in the high country.
The cockpit of my friends AT.
I have a line on 2 used africa twins
both have 40,000 km, one is a 1989 another is a 1991.
Does anyone know if those were good years of africa twins? Anything I should look for?
and these are located...
Back off they are mine
So you cowboys love @T's, don't you.. then I must give you a taste on how we see them here in the far "east".....
My first post in the ADV forum couldn't be in a better post.. I own an @T RD07a in evolution, no pictures here right now, but I'll post some from friends..
I was having a bitch of a time trying to figure out a proper location for my plugs on the AT. Here's what I came up with. It's made from AL and attaches via thick AL wiring loom clamps that go around the headlamp bracket. There's a kill switch, LED power-on light, BMW plug, and a marine grade 12V acc. plug.
Some more.. they all come from the MC Africa Twin Italia and as you can see we love our AT in Italy
and more.. this is something really special, I'm not able to quantify the 1000s$ spent on this one, only the engine is around 4000.. it has an 840cc with the racing power curve.... :eek1
Fantastic photos of some very nice Africa Twins
Mate, Im going nuts over those AT's, thats exactly what I want to do to my bike !!!
Fantastic! :eek1 Amazing paint scheme!
Pity the other 2 photos don't appear on my computer...
just copy ther properties and paste them in a new page
