That sucks huge amounts of shit, but I gotta say it was pretty easy to see it coming... :cry

On the other hand, it is time to take this thing grass roots! Back to the People who own and pay to maintain (?) the alleys - US!!

There are lots of cool alleys in every town around us. :deal Long live The Alley Sweeper!

    Just saying....

Saw that coming. Can't be cool, underground and counterculture hip when it gets so popular/vilified that aged men on $25,000 BMW's and news media flock to it. Kind of reminds me of the direction the One Show seems to be heading as well - corporate sponsorship, lines around the block for hours, no more cheap beer, vendor rental space, insane brand merchandising.......Cant' stop progress I guess. Farewell Alley Sweeper, glad I got to ride you those few times. :cry

In other news, anyone want to ride motorcycles down some alleys this Sunday and then find some dive bar and drink some cheap beer?

Yup...saw that coming from miles away! Sucks balls that it killed itself. I don't blame SFRC as next would be lawyers chasing them around or worse. Glad I got to be part of it when it was Great.

I am right there with you OC on "The One". It has gone 180 degrees from what it was intended to be. The big corporate involvement just sucks every bit of cool out of it for me. It sickens me to see big money build ridiculous crap and age it or throw mud at it to make it look used. I would rather look at beat up crap that was built and used as intended...stuff with SOUL!

I am glad I got to go twice at least. An "unofficial" alley sweeper sounds fun!

Maps? We don't need no steenkin maps. They're alley's fer crysakes. You'll find them between the main streets. Find one, ride it til you can't, move over and grab another one. Repeat as needed. :deal
