That's partly the way I see it. During the winter of 09-10 and last winter, I was able to have a few days when the weather was horrible to kick back and read some well written stories and see pictures of places I have always wondered about but never seen. It also inspired me in several ways for some creative ideas and plans of my own. And the other part is it just looks like a great book and worth having, so I'm in. My sister self published a cookbook 2 years ago. It's one of those things you don't realize how much goes into it until you see the process for yourself with editing, rewriting, design, layout, pictures, printing, finding a way to distribute it, etc. A lot of people are going to digital now, but for something like this, holding it in your hands I think is a different deal than seeing it on the screen.
