Nice. I like a clean C4. Impressed that yours has the 6 speed.

Be prepared for the onslaught of mullet and gold chain jokes.

I really like the HUD on my Coupe - the cornering speeds are so insane you really never want to take your eyes off the road. These later cars are surprisingly comfortable for longer road trips, a Viper feels like piece of farm equipment in comparison last time I drove one. C5s really need an cat back exhaust; 40 - 50 hp gain and now your motor can talk to you rather than sound like a quiet vacuum cleaner. Parts prices are so cheap compared to some of the imports.

Are you guys running front license plates? These cars look so much better without one.

    Colorado requires a front plate.

My dealer told me they do not put any dealership badges, decals, etc on any new Corvette - and won't mount the front plate holder unless you request it.
(they leave it up to you to abide by that law)

The C7 has an optional "aero" front plate mount that is sleek and minimizes the ugly that a front plate brings to such a beautiful car.

Ya, I know it's Colorado law but I just can't get myself to mount it and uglify the front end, the C5 had the nice insert as standard equipment - instead I carry it and can lay it on the dash if stopped...but officer there are no mounting screw holes.....but IMO if you go fast enough oncoming pigs won't have time to notice :evil especially if they're munching on donuts and coffee

How about if I come over and give you a few free Vette driving lessons?

Yes ... but it's all on backorder. :D

    But to the original question:
Yes, had one. '85, bronze/bronze, glass top, leather, 4+3 xmsn, Bose, etc. I don't remember all of it but IIRC it was only missing one option. Great fun to drive but it was the only vehicle I've ever owned that left me stranded alongside the road for something other than stupid me running out of gas (aside from that Audi 100LS in which I missed a shift and lunched a few valves). Could not get an ignition module that would last longer than a few months and the dealership could not keep them in stock. Even while the Vette was still under warranty, I had to buy a module at a parts house, take it to the dealership for installation, then they'd give me a new one when it came in. After the 3rd or 4th failure, I started carrying a spare.

From 2012, G/F and I loaded up and went to visit my parents in IL. Made a big round trip and dropped in on some friends I hadn't seen for a long time, and of course had to stop by the Museum. I like that GM has 'Vette only parking in front of the plant, almost like other owners wanted pictures with the sign in the background.... whoda thunk?

'95 ZO7 with a 6 speed, mostly stock. I'm the third owner, the first two did a great job keeping the car up. Corsa exhaust, aftermarket brake pads/rotors, it's nicely sorted. Got the wrong size wheels/tires on it, but I'll fix that when I get out of school...

Yellow car is a ZR-1. He's really a bike guy, but has a soft spot for cars as well.
