The DR must never die! With all the transmissions taking dumps, it should be easy to find a top end, right?

Speaking of transmissions... Is there any news on the Nova gearsets being available?

Found a good shop that's doing the work. We found a head so we are going to revive this beast.

I see your point but I don't feel the need to replace the stock carb after replacing the exhaust, cutting the airbox and jetting it with the ProCycle Breathe Easy kit. I think that kit was well thought out and was easy enough to install and get right if following the instructions. It's been running absolutely great. I have had no running or surging issues at all. But that's the beauty of the DR, a great platform for tinkering and making it your own. :thumb

If you go with the eBay one, please let us know how it is. I have wondered about those dirt cheap new eBay starters. Sure beats $386 for OEM from RMATVMC.

I think ProCycle has them listed. Maybe I am imagining that...

I bought a 460 mini starter for my Ford from DB Eletrictrical , been running it for years. Them big stock ones don’t to well with headers, much less trying to get it out.

Cutting and stretching the spring makes it stiffer and drilling another holes make sit respond faster, one somewhat counteracting the other :hmmmmm

Now available direct from Nova or via Procycle who has a few sets in stock. Nova are making, or have made, batch #2 ATM.
