After riding a Victory (Brammo) Empulse, I believe they are neat bikes and would make a great commuter in the city, but that's about it until range can be extended and charging can be quicker.

And this was a cordless drill. Three times the cost of a more powerful corded electric drill.

I built an electric fatbike with a mid drive motor. The power is boosted to interesting levels and it is an absolute hoot on single track.

I like it more on certain single track than my dirt bikes. In the US <750W is still legally a bicycle so there are many more trails available closer to home. I can pedal when I want for exercise or add some juice when I don't. And it fits on a standard WalMart bicycle rack on the back of any car. Easy transport.

A great addition to the stable that every motorcyclist should consider. Definitely not a replacement, but a great addition!

Electric motorcycles don't make my heart beat faster, sorry.

They may be a fun toy or a city commuter tool, but that's about it for me.
