I'm sure everyone will bend over backwards to help an electric car to participate. Politically incorrect not to

Trucks and cars have different marathon and rest days this year. Also different routes a couple of days (from what I can decipher).

Cars opening the piste...no bike tracks to follow should make for a new dynamic.

Not in the running out of fuel sense but break down mechanically sense.. and that's giving them an extra day.

As the cross the Salar de Uyuni, they can just lay down a metal strip and soak up spare lithium from the vast Bolivian resources. Charging along as they run.

No Ben Grabham, I really thought he would be back to make up for last years mistake, he has showed he has what it takes and was going better in stages each year really.

^^^ I think whatever budget and resources there are, have gone towards his Oz KTM team mate/protogé Toby Price's effort for this DAKAR...?

Yes, but its a shame 2 years of learning the ropes, the nav challenges, the routines, the pressures, has been wasted, it may have been enough for him to put those things behind him and concentrate on performing well.

Oh well they have a great racer in Toby and I hope the gamble pays off, go Aus

    Something is stranege.
We have a good flow of information prior to Dakar, but surprinsigngly almost no coverage of the loading in Le Havre.
Previous year, thouands of photos from all the teams, but this year almost none. (it is good speially to see the cars and trucks)
