Check this Turkey. Too bad they don't cook them like this in Colombia.

Mom and I and the rest of the Clan will celebrate at Seabrooks Beach. Temperature today is 52 F, bright and sunny.

    Our Blest to all!

They don’t really celebrate the invasion down here. But There are plenty other celebrations so I’m not missing out. Had a nice morning walk... BE8D0EBA-FC87-44DF-AACA-096C1EEC71BE.jpeg D03276F8-3D89-4401-876C-F5965D4C4D08.jpeg 67FE51F4-FAA3-43F2-A282-1D8CD8F35BEF.jpeg

Spend a lot of money on equipment. Ride in the rain and on dangerous roads. Eat questionable food. Drink copious quantities of local beverages. Take pictures of dogs. Bravo Jorge.

Great report. Hear much talk about the immigration politics?

You guys look like you're having a blast. It's scorched earth all around here. Rock Store survived. Here's a picture of the bridge by The Old Place on Mulholland. Steel I-beams melted like butter. We ran for our lives, but were among the lucky ones with a house to come home to.

Just finished the first 26 pages of posts. This is a great RR and something i would love to do in the not too distant future. Hoping to be able to to pull together all the great details you have chronicled. This is book worthy, I'm in for a first edition.

Zero about the Central America/Mex. The issue here is Venezuelan refugees. Everyone is sympathetic and wants to help but not many people can.

Glad to have you along. To prepare, I read the RR's of those who went before me. Maybe this one will help those following behind.

What's a guy to do when not racing in the rain?

    Hah. Love the dog pics.
I saw you had asked about keeping your TIP open while leaving Peru for Christmas. Eva and I were planning on storing bikes in Cusco for 10 days at Christmas. We were about resigned to the hassle of canceling and reinstating TIPs until I saw a response to your post stating TIP can be left open if leaving Peru for a short period. Have you learned anymore? I’m worried that when I check in for my flight home there may be a flag that shows we brought a moto in.

I haven't really learned anything more. I think I'm not going to risk it.

My i-phone flew off the motorcycle at speed, in the rain. So short product review: The Ram Mount X-Grip sucks. It mashes buttons that activate emergency dialing, turns down the music volume when your favorite song is playing, and tosses your phone while riding at 55mph in the rain.

Dog pictures will have to wait while the phone is being serviced. Perhaps I can update tonight. We've had some good rides. The loop Justin and I ran last week was just too good so I ran it again the other direction with Jason and a couple from Germany (Sasha & Kirsten.) Salento- Villiavieja- San Agustin- Cali.

Back in Cali while everyone services bikes and gets set for the next leg. I love Colombia but anxious to head south to the equator.

Still waiting for my bike to be released by customs, hopefully tomorrow. I have not ridden my bike for almost two weeks, it sucks. Sorry about your phone, hope it is fixable.

    Cheers!
