I'd love to....However, the picture you posted above is not a duplication of the first tag....i.e. - It doesn't show a bike, and it doesn't show the tower. It also looks like it could be a completely different sign unless the fence is visible from a different angle....I hope you got another picture showing more...

That'd be perfect.....If your red 1150R isn't running, feel free to use any other bike you have in lieu of it....Long as it's the same sign and same tower....

BTW - you better make sure that the same number of big-ass birds are perched on the tower while taking the pic:rofl :norton

Ha Ha - Thanks Mike....We're off to a bit of a slow start, but I'm sure the Floridian Chapter will be pounding out the tags before you know it.... Right about January I'll be sure to link you to a Tag for the "90 miles to Cuba" Key West buouy (sp??)....Yeah, you'll be mighty jealous then....See ya,

Seeing as how I guess I'm the dictator of the game, my ruling is that Tag #1 still needs tagged.

    As klrmike suggested:

You gotta take a pic of YOUR bike in front of the SAME TOWER showing the SAME SIGN....

If this doesn't work, maybe I'll try typing s...l...o...w...e...r... next time....

Well, Not sure if it will get tagged yet today, My plan is to head out and get it first thing in the AM. One last ride in Florida before I head back to work.
Then I just need to find the next tag?????

Woke up late thought I might miss this one.

I think some of the birds are the same ones!

Corner of Walter Greer Rd and Firetower Rd. AKA Tower rd and 731 depending on the Map

A little closer to civilization I found this TAG#2
    [IMG]
Just off a road named after a state,
this cool old shell of an air plane awaits it fate
Makes the Alp look not quiet so rustic
hope you find it before its too late

The small plane may or may not be there as it still looks flyable.
Leave it to a pilot to find an old plane

Well I got the first tag this morning. Woke up late, Guess the Galdes 300 yesterday was longer than I thought.
First a few things to remember.
    1. If you use the map and compass instead of a GPS make sure you dont forget the map...:DOH
    2. Charge your camera before you leave and dont leave it turned on in your topcase. Thank the big man for the camera phone.
    3. If you see part of an old tire laying in the middle of the road and you think it is moving it may not be a tire,
Truckers call them alligators for a reason. This is when I found out the camera was DOA and I could not get to the phone quick enough.
After that it was just a good ride.
Except for the fact that everytime I saw another bike I would think, someone beat me there and is on the way back.
Whew, that was a street bike, who in their right mind would take a street bike down a dirt road ? (any help RichMC?).
Well any way I made it there and back in pretty good time. Now I have to Family Maintenance and get some things done at the ~rents place.
    Couple of pics

Sweet....Does your post #34 show a picture? (I see the Photobucket Message Box thing)...

Your pic in the lower post doesn't show the Prevent Forest fires sign, but since you have the location description perfect and also show the sign for Walter Greer Road, the dictator considers it a successful tag...

OK folks - now we've got something else to look for :thumb

I think I might have found it online. Unfortunately, I don't have the Touratech/Graco child pillion seat attachment bracket in place on the bike, so that rules me out from trying for it today....Maybe in the next couple days I might be able to get out there and see if my guess is right.....

Was going to leave early and head to Louisiana for work but I called and they said our base is under water. Everyone from Texas and west LA is jam packed into our base in New Iberia so they have no where for me to stay. Looks like I will leave weds morn and drive straight through for work on thurs. All day in a cage :puke1
