    How about today? :D

It was nice to get the RT out for a spin today. I've been riding the GS pretty solid for the past few weeks. But dayam, it was cold today. Thermals and a few Gerbing jackets at Alices today.

Hi kids! 5 advrider points for the first person who can name everybody around the table.

Velcro is up to no good. If the Canon was just two seconds faster, this would have been a much more interesting shot :evil

Is George about to blow chunks? :puke2

Yeah, well same to you, buddy. :flip
Imagine...800 mile round trip just to eat lunch with us at Alices. What a loon. :loco

    Obligatory GS shot.

Hmmm...GS's look good with black valve covers too. Nizice.

    Velcro gets around.

    Random red monster photo.

Nice seven, sasha. We love you even if you didn't ride there. :):

Lot's of fun stuff to read on George's bike.

Clean GS. Very very clean. Disgustingly clean. Wish it were mine.

Boom chaka laka boom chaka laka

The HB bars are very nice and look like they would provide great protection in a crash. Except for that achilles heel on the 1100...and the fact that you have to complete remove the final drive and tranny to do a valve adjustment. :heh:

One of the few folks who have more bigger lights on his GS than fish :lol2

Nah, with the Union Suit I was just right. Had to pull it out of the closet 'cause I taking a week off soon high in the Rockies.

Nice to meet all and see RLJ for the second time.

Returned to work (grr) via the Divine Skyline-Page Mill combo. The chill and the wind scrubbed the air crispy clean. On the right miles of rolling brown California hills roll down to the shore, the marine layer beaten back to China, vast Pacific extending to the horizon. On the left the ridge road looks out over Silicon Valley with Mt. Diablo 40 miles away, but as clear as if I could touch it. In another month the hills will start to turn their lush Winter green from the onset of the rains. Today, though, was the first crisp day of fall. The views were spectacular, and I had to will my eyes down to the road.

    Sorry, no pics.

globeexplorer.com, eh? They want $35 to download this image without watermarks, so. :nah

Here's the intersection of 35 and 84. Alice's Restaurant is the building by the red car in the center of the image.

The ride was cut short because I had to get back to go wine tasting with these two beauties[IMG]

Sunday night and I am just getting home. Stayed the weekend in SF. Hit the slab for a 5 hour drone home today. Lunch was great. Always fun meeting the Bay area crowd. Looking forward to the next one, just let me know when.
