  1. Over Kingsbury and Luther in a cage today.
    Totally rideable. Bits of sand and occasional wet spot.
    Don't be scared....

    The passes (4, 89, 108, 120) are all now shut down for the winter. Enjoyed them all a lot this past season.

    I might take a few weeks to ride all the Sierra passes in September of this year.

    First week of March! How high were the banks of snow along the road? Or, was it simply bare of snow?

    I'm gonna guess it was pretty bare. Hasn't been any snow in maybe 6-8 wks.
  7. Several feet, but not a "normal" amount of snow.

    A few wet patches across the road.

    I watch the daytime temps. and travel during the warmest mid day temps.
