Nice bit of kit, but you won't like the price.

I've been drinking the Aldi dark for the past two years. It rates very highly against any of the 'brand' names', but I have recently switched to the Aldi medium - it tastes even better and has a higher caffeine content.

Been on the cheap bean train for a few years also.

    But...

    Fresh roasted is really nice.

Been using endlesscup.com.au as mentioned on here. Absolutely delicious. 7kgs so far and quality is superb.

The recommendations have me thinking I will also try the ALDI stuff. Is it Arabica blend?

When you visit here our Coffee is always the Aldi brand.. We love it and at $11.95 for a 1kg bag it's real value.. the Dark or Medium are both nice and on the bag it says sourced from Arabica and Robusta...

:scratchI wondered what was affecting your otherwise reasonable coffee. Not a Robusta fan I'm afraid, the yanks seem to love the muddy stuff but I can't stand it. I reckon I'll stick with Lavazza for now, I am an Arabica tragic when it comes to coffee.

:*sip*I just had an afternoon pint of the stuff (with a couple of sugars for a change), very tasty and stopped me feeling hungry too.:jive You should come over for a coffee eh.

I'm pretty sure Lavazza is the supplier for Aldi's home brand beans. I don't know whether it's a different mix of beans though.

I tried to research which of the Lazzio/Aldi coffees were Arabica or Robusta. Any idea guys?

    Earn or bought?

Take a look at the prize list - there were lots of brands handed medals in each category.

I couldn't find a list if any brands that didn't get medals :scratch
