Just picked up a bag of Aldi dark roast, accidentally got ground instead of beans. Not very good in the Espresso machine but works well in the Moka.

Ahh yes, the servo sausage roll. And that fucking plastic wrapper that could melt titanium, should keep some in the tool bag to fix exhausts. You front up to the servo now and have to serve ya bloody self, make your own bloody coffee, bad enough you have to pump your own fuel. I really miss the old roadhouses that made bloody good tucker, the coffee might’ve been shit but at least it was hot, remember that skin on the top getting stuck to your lip? Buxton Burgers were a fave, the servo under the tyre crossing into SA used to have good food, there was a top roadhouse in Bothwell Tas that had deep fried mars bars amongst other delicacies and their coffee was a bloody standout. Fuck macdonalds and fuck big oil for screwing it up. One unintended consequence this virus has provided, you don’t get asked to take off your helmet now.

In that brief window we had in Vic recently I took off down river to fish and generally do stuff all, broke out the handpresso which I haven’t used since PI classics, shit that thing makes a good brew and it’s a bit of fun to use. Gotta get a hand grinder, the pre-ground stuff is a bit shit and it doesn’t last long, had to chuck out some that I had in an airtight container as it was tasting like ground up shoe leather. Or caterers blend, whichever. So what is a good one? One you can carry on a bike?

There’s other things that start with T you could add to Tenere to describe Large Father.
