Yes you got it The first picture is looking at the back of the three sisters
Is that a glacier at the top of the picture?
Not a named glacier, though there are a number of worn out ones in the area. Just to narrow it down a little, this is west kootenays.
You do get around sector. Good stuff.
Total guess, Schroeder Creek?
Not Schroeder Creek, but the road is named after a creek. And, I take back my answer to your previous question... The glaciers in the area are named. You can't see one in the photo, but there is one up there on the other side of the mountain.
The guy in the previous photo on the left is looking up at this glacier, which also has a name:
WAG Cooper Cr?
No, but getting warmer. Where the road starts, the bridge that crosses the creek on the main road is worth stopping and taking a look. This isn't the best pic in the world, but the only one I could find. I'm standing on the bridge and looking down at the creek.
Howser Creek road
Yes, over to you!
I really love the way you got those mining bits in the foreground, your riding buddies in the mid-ground, and that awesome backdrop. That's why you're the pro! Now, where in the Columbia Basin... Mining... I think I'm wrong here, but gotta start somewhere...somewhere near Sandon?
Hailstorm Ridge up the Shannon Creek FSR? East of Tillicum mine
Great shot btw...
Got it! Sorry for the delay in replying, was out of service camping.
Sure looked like my backyard....I am on the Tilicum side!
I seriously doubt the people that maintain this cabin want it being advertised on the internet. Sorry to be that guy, but I'd strongly recommend you post a different photo and let some places just remain a hidden gem. Spoken from a guy that has made that mistake in the past and now try to keep some places off the radar of the internet world.
fair enough. im gonna pass on my turn since i dont have any other pictures handy. i nominate ssphoto since his shots are so good
