    5. cored supertrapp, jetting/slide/spring mods, lowering links-2", stiffer springs front and rear; snorkel removed by PO; evap can removed
    6. blown mainbearing-shop split cases to clean out; rebuilt front wheel w/ stronger spokes before recall-broke many before this; broken wiring-fixed at shop; many bolts shaken off; starter clutch replaced by shop; premuffler failed at welds; center stand tab sheared off frame-now sidestand only; low gas sensor quit-let it be; fork seals replaced; rear shock blew-rebuilt by shop; carb clogged; subframe welded where cracking at muffler attachment point; rear brake light sensor replaced, carb boot replaced
    7. rally pegs, emig bar risers, handguards; 2003 seat
    8. Dunlop 606 front, 908rr rear
    9. 2/3 road
    10. I'd buy a cheap one
    11. replaced blown bearing at about 15k miles

    4. Current mileage: 19,400 mi or so, Ive put on about 16,000 of that in the last year
    5. Modifications done: drilled the slide holes to .125, clipped a couple of coils on the slide spring. 6 x 1" dia holes in the the air box cover with uni inserts, 160 main 47.5 pilot, previous owner put on Big gun race system with quiet core. Quiet my ass.
    6. Mechanical work done:replaced broken clutch cable, water pump bearings and seals @ 13,000 miles. If I have been riding it hard or its very dusty,oil changes @ 1500 miles ( mobil 1 15w-50 gold cap) with filters @ 3K miles. If Ive been easy on it (winter) 3000 miles between oil changes
    7. Upgrades done: silver star head light bulb
    8. Current tires on the bike: Pirelli Mt 21 f/r 130/90-18
    9. Percentage of road versus dirt use: 70% dirt
    10. Would you buy another one?: With out a doubt
    11. Did you replace the main shaft bearing (if applicable): Main shaft bearing replaced @ 7400 miles, caught it in the process of failing, the cage had started to separate.

    7. Upgrades done: glass lens head light. street legal stuff. headlight relay upgrade. replaced plastic hand guards with metal ones. bar risers and bar ends from Stenhouse Racing.

    9. Percentage of road versus dirt use: R/Dirt 10/90%

    5. Modifications done: Mainly to moi with increased riding ability and wearable armor on the per chance that the steed is augered in at speed
    6. Mechanical work done: nada other than tightening jiggled bolts and chasing a few electrical gremlins after needing the periscope
    7. Upgrades done: Big Gun Race pipe, RTT steering damper (woof!), rear wave rotor, 14 tooth front sprocket, KTM rallye pegs, KTM skid plate, KTM grips, Acerbis barkbusters, and when I get off me arse, mount for Garmin Zumo 550 and Trailtech speedo
    8. Current tires on the bike: after trying many, settled on the ground flicking Pirelli MT21
    9. Percentage of road versus dirt use: 5% road, 94% dirt, 1% liquids
    10. Would you buy another one?: Within a heart beat, though must say with cap in hand, waiting for the new 690 Baja to dent the account when magically appearing upon our forgotten shores
    11. Did you replace the main shaft bearing (if applicable): No

    5. Modifications done: Cored exhaust, 147.5 main jet, trail tech vapor computer, cyclops headlight, LED signals, comfort seat, happy trails rack with pelican cases, the "pretty" front fender, new plastics, going to be doing the air box mod.
    6. Mechanical work done: Just the general maintenance- oil changes, sprockets, tires, etc. Havent had to fix anything else.
    7. Upgrades done: See #5.
    8. Current tires on the bike: Pirelli MT21's
    9. Percentage of road versus dirt use: 60% road 40% off
    10. Would you buy another one?: HECK YEAH! I dont think i'll need to though...

    ...this is my 4th lc4 !

    -first was a 94 (no problems)- a 96 e-start(battery failure)- a 99 six days- no probs...

    now: 2003 adventure

    bought used (9000km)with garantee :D

    km 11.000

    modifications: as usual- bar raisers, sidestand, spring preload...

    techn. probs: new front wheel- front brake

    motor, clutch OK by now

    tires: conti tkc 80

    drive 80% offroad

    -the best lc4 ive ever head- driving easy- good power-lots of fuel stored- good seat etc.

    would i buy another one???

    DONT like the vibrations and miss 6th gear-

    SO- waitin for a six gear 690 adventure?!

    or change to 950/990 maybe........:1drink
