So...you two won't be taking a Round The World trip together?
You have almost enough banter for a daytime tv show
Only pussies take it in the summer. Show us something ADV worthy and go in January
If you can, take the tour at Hydro-Quebec. Great bit of engineering there
So there I was, eating a cheeseburger...
Taking up good bandwith.
I'll never get that time back.... LOL. I for one would enjoy a 3rd season with The LWR/LWD crowd.
One should not sacrifice liberty, for a false sense of security.
F00k you mang!
Sit down and shut yer pie hole while they duke this out.
So is there a new film coming out?
Not a bad concept, though. Nothing like traveling together to figger out how to get along with each other.
Agreed , makes for good reading
But never say never.
"However, for the star's latest trip he has swapped his faithful BMW motorcycle for a Motor Guzzi and has become the face of the oldest motorcycle manufacturer in Europe."
Is this not the same "story" that was posted earlier? Just someone trying to put 2 and 2 together after watching the Guzzi video?
It may have been, I just came across it on Facebook and thought it might be relevant. I only read a few pages of the thread..which seemed to have drifted and thought it may help. Apologies.
Yeah. Thanks for that. Appreciated.
I don't blame people for dreaming and scheming on ways to make a Long Way 3 happen.
When I was in a hotel I would pop on the TV and all the shows were awful. Even these hokey "survival" shows that were full of bad info and probably filmed 30 feet from the road sucked and were obviously scripted.
One show did have some decent camping tips but that was it.
So, with the quality of programming so poor, I can understand the desire to light a fire for LW3.
That's what I don't understand about all the discounting and objections voiced here about the Long Way series. It's not like a new one would preempt any show I'd rather be watching. I even watched the Feasting On Asphalt series with Alton Brown. It had people going places I probably haven't been to and they were on motorcycles. Both of these shows had riders on BMWs before I owned one. But I'll watch shows like that if their on Burgmans, Vespas, or even Moto Guzzis. You see, I like motorcycles and motorcycle riders who are traveling somewhere.
I'll welcome Long Way Anywhere.
A Scooter themed Long Way would be neat. A different set of riding challenges. I bet it would feature a lot more back roads and more random encounters with regular folks.
The Producer would hate it because it wouldn't be as easy to script, but it would be a good show in my opinion.
